Multiplayer Shooter
Team up with friends, or play solo!
PIX is a sci-fi-themed 3rd person multiplayer shooter that features a variety of characters and weapons and allows a maximum of 8 players to team up and choose between three different game modes (Horde, Free For All, and Team Deathmatch).
Background
PIX was my Computer Science and Digital Media Informatics undergraduate capstone project. For the project, teams of 3-4 students are required to spend the entirety of their senior year creating a project that aligns with their interests and future career paths. Since our team did not have a dedicated artist, all art assets were acquired from Synty Studios, and animations were acquired from Mixamo.
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for implementing all three game modes, the horde AI, character movement and animations, weapon firing & health functionality, and all multiplayer server functionality.
