Within These Walls is a first-person psychological horror game that invites the player to question their reality. By exploring an old abandoned manor and finding clues they must learn what happened to the manor's previous inhabitants and decide whether the manor is truly haunted.
Background
Within These Walls is a 2023 RIT IGM graduate capstone project being developed by a team of 3 called the Tri-Hards. The game is built in Unreal Engine 4 using Tansu Ergene's Horror Engine. The goal of the project is to explore the intersection between typical horror games and walking sims, by creating a balanced experience between high-tension gameplay and relaxed exploration.
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for implementing all major scare sequences (nursery, library, finale). Also responsible for designing and implementing the accessibility system, and main and paused menus.
